Know it All

Last night, we discussed going to have lunch with Daddy at his work today. We made plans and Sister was very excited to go see Daddy at work. This morning, Sister came in to greet me, and I asked if she was ready for a fun day, which included a trip to have lunch with Daddy. Her response?

Me: We get to go have lunch with Daddy!

Sister: NO! We can't go see Daddy. It's too far! He works in Austin, and that is too far away.

Me: Really? We can't go see him?

Sister: NO! (pause) Come on, let's get some Halloween candy!

I guess Halloween candy trumps Daddy for now.
