Today, I let Big Girl pick a treat from the store. She picked out some candy and was very excited about it. While I was picking up some other items, she began asking me questions.
Big Girl: Mommy, if I eat this, will I get fat?
Mom: Well, if you eat too much of it, you can get fat.
Big Girl: And then I can be fat like Daddy?
Mom: Is Daddy fat?
Big Girl: Yes.
Mom: Oh, and you want to be fat?
Big Girl: Yes.
Well, I cannot argue with that. Although, Daddy is not fat.
After dinner, Big Girl patted her belly and said:
I'm so fat.
